WWI British Aston & Mander Leather Cased Clinometer

A First World War (WWI) English Army officer's Aston & Mander leather cased clinometer.  The clinometer has an approx 2 3/4 inches dia.  Marked Aston & Mason, London, No 2095.  The side glass is in good condition.  The screws to the side appear to be all present.  We are unsure if the inner mechanism is functioning.  The leather case is lined with crimson velvet.   It has a strap and buckle fastening to the top.  3 1/4 inches  dia.  Overall in good condition for its age.
