Cold War Era British Army Major General's Mess Kit.

A Cold War British Army Major General's mess kit.  The jacket is made from scarlet doeskin type fabric by Moss Bros of London.  Black collar and cuffs, quilted scarlet inner lining.  Some moth damage.  Maj Gen's embroidered rank badges to lace edged shoulder boards / epaulettes.  A waistcoat fitted with Queen's Crown staybrite buttons.  A pair of matching barethea overalls / bootstrapped trousers.  Approx 1 3/4 inch red stripes to legs.  Overall the uniform is moth traced, the appearance is still good, offered in fair/poor condition for its age and service wear.  Please study the photographs.
