A scarce example of a very well made early 20th century, Edwardian, lady's leather lined driving / motoring coat. It is made from thick heavy woollen fabric, it is similar to the fabric used to make traditional greatcoats, close woven tweed felt type. Fitted with high grade metal buttons with moulded leather to fronts. Hanging chain to inner back of collar. Large approx 2 1/2" cuffs and side hand apertures. Fully leather lined with supple very high grade best hide. Of interest to Edwardian fashion historians and collectors as well a vintage car enthusiasts as it is very similar to the Dunhill made period motoring clothing. It would be the business for any one who attends vintage car rallies etc. Please study the photographs as it is in excellent condition
